Time is money
Have you ever heard of the phrase ‘Time is money’?…
It’s used quite a bit…
You typically hear it in those movies about fast-paced, high-pressure corporate business life…
You know the ones where the main character (usually a 30 something burnt-out man in a tweed suit) is just waiting for that ‘big sale’ or that crucial ‘hire’…
Movies aside.. really if you think about it, time is not money…
Not entirely anyway.
It’s spending quality time with your family…
Time is taking a break and knowing your business will be ok…
Time is booking in and going for that sports massage for yourself…
Time is catching up with good friends over dinner…
Time is making it to your son or daughter’s school play, football match, assembly or just making it home to read them their favorite bedtime story.
Time is freedom.
But you can’t have any of this when you’re constantly having to take on other people’s workload…
You can’t have any of this if you’re never able to JUST focus on your role in the business…
You can’t have any of this when you get through your door late, feeling frazzled, overworked, and underpaid each and every night.
