It’s like after a first date

Something I frequently hear candidates say regarding the hiring process is that they receive little or no feedback.

This is a big mistake for a Hiring Manager to make because if your communication isn’t constantly flowing you could easily lose that candidate.

It’s a bit like not hearing back after a first date…

Every day you hear nothing you lose momentum.

And eventually, that relationship will fizzle out, because either you’ll lose interest or you’ll assume they have. And as they say “It’s on to the next one!”

Not only this, but I strongly believe there’s a level of professionalism you should be keeping to during the hiring process. Giving feedback is key to helping candidates improve themselves and learn from so it’s important to always give.

Is communication an important part of your hiring process?

How do you make sure there is a constant flow of communication going with your potential hires?
