Can you ever switch off as a business owner?
I had a great family day out yesterday and tried to convince myself I could stay away from the phone and email for just one day. I did well but couldn’t do it, switching my phone on just a couple of times for a short while to see what was going on, (I confirmed two interviews) I find it very hard when clients and candidates are relying on you, and you offer high levels of service not to keep up good communication.
I spoke to the family about it on the way home and they felt a few calls weren’t a problem at all, and they were pleased I didn’t work for the majority of the time.
How do you switch off, do you need to?
