What are YOU bringing to the table?

What are YOU bringing to the table?

An important part of the hiring process is offering an appealing package to the candidate. And when I say appealing package, I mean appealing to the candidate NOT what you deem to be appealing.

Candidates don’t want to hear your story - they don’t care about you.

They probably don’t want to hear about your firm’s history - no matter how interesting you think it is.

And they might not even want to hear about your firm’s past successes - no matter how impressive you think they might be.

As brutal as it sounds, it’s true.

To be frank, they want to know what’s in it for them.

And why wouldn’t they?

Career progression is something I often hear candidates ask about in the interview process, so you better be ready with an answer if you don’t want to lose out on top talent.

I see many hiring managers in the Technology industry fall at this hurdle.

So, I ask you…

Is career progression something you include in your offer to the candidate?

How do you put this across to them?

Are you offering the candidate a package that will benefit them and inspire their future?
