Out with the old in with the new

Out with the old in with the new

We’ve been having a proper clear out in our house this week.

A real ‘Spring clean’… you know, where you find out you had so much hidden junk that you wonder why you ever kept?

And getting rid of that junk feels good!

They say there’s something therapeutic about sorting through your belongings and throwing stuff out you don’t need. Well, I have to agree. So, this week has made me think about business too…

Specifically, about the things I could “throw out” and what I need to make space for. And I’m not just talking about physical stuff. I mean plans, strategies, “rules” for myself if you like. And I asked myself, are these still relevant?

Have I outgrown them?

What fresh, new ideas and habits can I replace them with?

It’s safe to say 2020 has thrown us a curveball and I think that now more than ever this is an exercise all Technology business owners should think about doing. If you want to continue growing a team of leading Technology talent and hitting your targets that is.

Take 15mins out of your day and see what comes up for you? What new habits can you create that will help get your business off the ground? I’d love to hear what you come up with. While you’re here…
