Flexible working is something that’s been floating around the media a lot recently. And with the vast majority of people working from home and “making it work” it’s not surprising… But it’s nothing new.
People in all industries have been attracted to flexible work packages for years, but it’s only now we are really seeing the benefits of this type of work set up for both the candidate and the company. It has been shown that project delivery and deadlines yield better productivity when a candidate works from home with flexible hours rather than the old, and more rigid 9-5 office desk setup.
So it may not have been something you really thought about before as a hiring manager, but since flexible work is likely to become our “new normal” here are some things you may like to think about…
