Business Owners and Toddlers
Have you ever seen a toddler play hide and seek? When they’re learning the rules, they tend to do this thing where they just stand still, close their eyes and sort hope for the best. And as a parent you can either choose to tell them they have to find a place to hide or you can pretend to look for them and play along. (Pretending to play along gets a bit tedious after a while, just saying!) Anyway, it’s a phase they go through, but they soon learn how to play properly. I’m seeing a lot of business owners in the Technology industry right now deciding to stand still and hope for the best too. With the economic climate up in the air as we try to deal with COVID-19, it’s an uncertain time we’re in. But I can say one thing for certain, if you choose to stand still and not actively work on getting your business through this time, you’re in trouble.
