I personally love them and am a total binge-watcher.

But how annoying is it when you’ve got to wait months for a new series of your favourite show… Then when it’s finally here… You get the snacks ready, clear your schedule, get comfy on the sofa… But after watching the first one or two episodes it’s clear the show has already peaked. You don’t want to believe it. You want it to be better. But if you’re really honest with yourself, you have got to call it a day with the show.

Many of the Portfolio Technology Businesses I work with are in a similar situation with someone in their Senior Sales or Marketing Team or one of the Board of Directors…

They have has been great in the past… They led the business in the right direction… They delivered when they needed to. But it’s clear they can’t take things to the next level. They’ve done their job… they’ve peaked.

And now, it’s up to you to let them go. Not an easy thing to do, because in all honesty, it’s a risk and a big investment.
